Compassionate Accompaniment in Somatic Movement
What may happen in a session?
At the beginning of a session we sit together and take a few moments to check in with your body's natural rhythms. We do this through attention to breath and body sensations and whatever you experience in that moment spontaneously guides the session. You are always met with awareness and acceptance.
This practice can be done sitting (in chair or on floor with cushion), lying down (on cushioned floor) or standing. Sometimes gentle touch may be used which is intuitive (client is always fully clothed). Being present and meeting whatever comes with compassion allows your body's intelligence to emerge. Whatever is there in that moment guides the session.
These experiences can help restore and balance your body which assists with re-patterning neural pathways, creating opportunities for change emotionally, physically and mentally.
Sessions may also include drawing and/or writing in response to body/touch work, movement or resting experiences. Also, you may speak about your experience as you wish. This process is gradual and the relationship between us as we work together is one of wholeness and mutual respect.

Cancellations: Please give me at least 24 hours notice so that I can offer the session to another client. Missed appointments without giving notice will be charged at full amount.
