Our minds are very skillful at flitting from one thought to another. This movement can bring a sense of calm even while thoughts are moving through we can let them pass like clouds. Thoughts still come but our practice can be about noticing them and then letting them pass. This is the art of taming what is called monkey mind in China. This seated Qi Gong posture is also helpful for relieving headaches.
